In this week class i have study about the random word or image association. Random word technique is the most basic and creative technique will use for random word to generate a new and creative idea. Random word or random association is a powerful thinking method. It's the simplest way of create some new ideas.It's make us think in different point and make people to came out with different products.

What is "Juxtaposition"?... Juxtaposition be describe as placing two variables, side by side and their contrast or similarity are shown through comparison. Many creative processes rely on juxtaposition. we can see by juxtaposition, two things next two each other, human brain will automatically associate.Our attention is drawn to the similarities or differences between the two objects. Juxtaposition, two random objects moving in parallel, a technique intended to stimulate creativity.

On of my creative studies lecture, Mr Radzi Bedu taught us about mind maps on this week.
He show class some examples of mind mapping. This are some of the mind map that i find in internet.

Actually by doing this mind mapping i realised about myself more. I take my own time to think.
i was think what are the things that i like and dislike. My experience on doing this mind mapping take around two hours to did.

Method of creative thinking

In my point of view, mind mapping is a tool that we use to write our ideas to produce and understand in simple and easy way. Mind map is normally used when doing revision before exam. By using this mind map we can understand in easy way. Mind mapping will create readers more interests then studying normal notes that are fully with writing without any design, color and images.

There are two methods of creative thinkings,
-Logical mind mapping is comprises of stereotypes words. Stereotypes can be true or
wrong.

-Associated mind mapping uses general random words that have no connection
between the links of words

Today i have learned about Novelty, Creativity, Innovation and invention. What is creativity?
Creativity is ability to generate new ideas or to combine existing ideas into a new way. creativity also can said as creating new ideas in unique way. As a creative students i think that all people should think creatively to create something that is very meaning and useful to everyone. Novelty is the quality of being new. Other than that, i have learned one new word in class today Invention are
the process and novelty is the quality of being new.As a designer we should not think creativity alone is not important is generating new, whereas thinking piratically is also important in present or producing a good, creative, quality design.

Defining creativity

I entered my class this my second week of entering creative studies class, my class is fully with students. I went and seat beside my friend. We was discussing about our assignment while waiting for the lecture the class start. The class was began with lecture. The lecture began the class with "Defining Creativity", that was the title that we study for this week. I have learnt about creativity is marked by the ability or power to create and to bring existence, to invest with a new form, to produce through imaginative skills, to make or bring into existence something new. Besides that, why we have to be creative? It's because creativity can help us do better job of what we do. If we improve ourself-confidence, we can learn to be creative. creating something new is always a joyful experience. Every moment that spend on our creativity will enrich our life. Beside that i also learned why to be creative in more detail.

-need for novel, varied, and complex stimulation-
-need to communicate ideas and values
-need to solve problems
so that, to be creative we have to thinking in different way and in many angels.

Introduction to Creative Studies

My first day of entered creative studies class. The class is fulled wit student, and also i can see sum new faces. Sum of the lectures who entered the class is my previous lectures. And the class was started with Mr.Sau Bin introduction. He started with introduce of creative studies. He was describe the the meaning of creative and creativity. Mr. Sau Bin gave a lot of tips regarding creativity. The lecture section around one to two hours.
I feel everyone can be creative that is no age or limit. They only thing have to do is start to imagine because is first step to became creative. As George Bernard shaw says,"Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will."
In my point of view,i prefer to study with a slide with some visuals compared to texts. text making my mind became bored and sleepy. I think slides with visual make me class going more interesting.
I have to learn more about creativity to improve myself. I have learned that everything in this world have to see in creative way. So that we can live more happily. Thank you.
